The photograph of the café on the corner of Main Street in Maynooth, Co. Kildare was taken on a beautiful early spring morning in 2020 from the gates of Carton Avenue looking onto the street. It had just rained and so there was a gloss on the pavement. I then worked with my special effects techniques in the computer over a period of several days, creating many different types of results until I arrived at this one. It was the splash of pink and purple that really made the street scene go to an extraordinary place. The digital image has been carefully printed to the highest quality giclée print for you to enjoy.
The print is printed with Fine Art Giclée print processes on Hahnemühle paper ( Photo Rag Baryta, 310gsm) with the Copperhouse Gallery Dublin.
