I started to write poetry as part of a poetry community group to prompts in 2021. One of the prompts was St Brigid but in stead of using words, I drew a picture, using promarkers and coloured pencils. It was a very spontaneous drawing and I wanted to capture the radience of the four extended parts and create a type of crystal like formation of colour. The Allium flower artwork is one of a series of digitally drawn artworks exploring that beautiful late spring early summer flower the Allium. Purple and red have been combined to bring out some cheerful colour vibes
